Can two Generators be compatible?
Human Design doesn't include a system that ranks Types against each other for compatibility — sharing a Type is neither required nor a guarantee. Two Generators do share the same Strategy (Wait to Respond), which means neither partner is mechanically waiting on the other to initiate, but overall compatibility depends on the specific Gates, Channels, and open Centers unique to each person's individual chart.
Because both partners have a defined Sacral, they share access to the same kind of sustainable engine and the same Signature (Satisfaction) and Not-Self theme (Frustration) — meaning they can recognize each other's rhythms and off-track signals more easily than partners with very different Type mechanics might.
Friction between any two Generators, when it happens, tends to trace back to differences elsewhere in their charts — different Authorities, different open centers each is conditioned through, or different Profiles — rather than to sharing a Type.
