What is today's Human Design transit?
Today's transit is simply where the planets sit on the 64-gate wheel right now — the same activations for everyone alive today, laid over each person's own fixed chart. The Sun's gate is the headline: it changes roughly every 5.7 days and its line changes about once a day. You can see the current gates on the daily transit page rather than working them out from an ephemeris.
What makes a transit personal is the overlap. If a transiting planet activates a gate that completes a channel you already have half of, that channel is temporarily defined and the center it touches behaves as if it were defined for the duration — which is why some days feel uncharacteristically decisive or uncharacteristically flat.
If a transiting gate lands on a channel you already have defined, you feel much less: that part of you is already permanently switched on.

- Does everyone experience the same transit?
- The transit itself is identical for everyone, but its effect depends on your own chart — it only feels significant where it completes something you half-have.
- How often does the transit Sun change gate?
- About every 5.7 days, since 365 days divided across 64 gates gives each gate roughly that long, with the line changing about once a day.
- Should I plan my day around transits?
- Strategy and Authority come first. Transits explain atmosphere, not what's correct for you — a transit never overrides your own decision-making mechanic.
