Can my Human Design chart be wrong?

The chart can be wrong, but only for one reason: bad input. The planetary positions are astronomy and aren't in question, so a wrong chart means a wrong birth time, a mishandled historical time zone, or the wrong birth location. If the chart feels wrong despite correct data, that's a different problem — usually conditioning, where the description doesn't match how you've learned to live rather than how you're built.

Check the input in this order: the time as recorded on the birth certificate rather than family memory, whether the calculator resolved the correct historical UTC offset for that date and place, and whether AM and PM were entered correctly. A twelve-hour error is the most common single mistake and frequently changes the Type outright.

Once the data is verified, resist re-typing yourself toward a description you like better. The usual experience of a correct chart is that the Type feels plausible and the Not-Self theme feels uncomfortably accurate — the second one is the better test.

My Type doesn't feel like me. Is the chart wrong?
Possibly, but check the birth data first. Long-term conditioning routinely makes people identify with a Type they aren't — a Projector living like a Generator is the classic case.
Can two calculators disagree if the data is identical?
Only if they resolve the birth moment to different UTC times or derive the Design side differently — the underlying positions are the same astronomy.
What's the single most common data error?
AM/PM confusion, followed by a time zone applied without accounting for the historical daylight-saving rules on that date.
