How accurate is Human Design?
"Accuracy" means two different things in Human Design. The calculation itself — which Gates, Centers, Type, and Authority you get — is deterministic and exact once you enter a correct birth date, time, and location. Whether the resulting description of your personality feels accurate to you is a separate, subjective question that isn't scientifically testable.
On the calculation side, precision matters a lot: even a 15-minute error in birth time can shift a Gate line or, in edge cases, change your Type or Authority, because the underlying planetary ephemeris is time-sensitive. If you don't know your exact birth time, an approximate one (morning, afternoon, evening) still gives useful information, just with less certainty around a handful of border cases.
On the interpretive side, there's no controlled study measuring whether Human Design descriptions are more accurate than chance. What is documented is that people commonly report strong recognition when reading their own chart — the same phenomenon reported for other personality frameworks.
