Does my Human Design chart show my zodiac sign?
Yes. Human Design is calculated from the same planetary longitudes astrology uses, so every activation in your chart has a zodiac position underneath it — the planetary table shows each planet's sign next to its gate and line, for both the Personality and Design sides. Your Sun sign is simply the zodiac reading of the same Sun position that produces your Personality Sun gate.
The two systems divide the same circle differently. Astrology cuts the 360-degree ecliptic into 12 signs of 30 degrees; Human Design cuts it into 64 gates of 5 degrees 37.5 minutes each, then splits every gate into six lines. Both are describing the same planetary position, so a gate always falls inside a particular sign — Gate 41, for instance, sits at the start of Aquarius.
What differs is what's built on top. Astrology reads signs, houses, and aspects; Human Design ignores houses and aspects entirely and cares only about which gates are activated and which channels they complete. The zodiac information is the raw material, not the output.
